About Us
Float in the Forest is a floatation centre in the Forest of Dean.
Floatation is a relaxation therapy where you float effortlessly on the surface of warm water saturated with Epsom salt. Your muscles relax and your mind can drift off.
Imagine relaxing in a giant bathtub that you can sleep in with peace of mind. There are a whole host of beneficial effects of floatation. Some people float because it gives them relief from the chronic pain of conditions such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, back pain and sciatica. Many sportspeople use floating to help with sports rehabilitation and an aid to their training. Others use it to help improve their sleep.
Floatation can also help to calm the mind ready for meditation. Or you may choose just to float for fun!
We have a relaxation lounge where you can enjoy comfy chairs, organic teas, and stunning local art on the walls. Appointments must be booked in advance. You can book on our website or give us a call to arrange your float.
The number 23 bus goes from Gloucester to Coleford, right past Float in the Forest.
Please make sure you check the Stagecoach website and bus timetable to plan your journeys before booking your float. Please also keep an eye out on the Gloucestershire Highways website for any road closures, as that could affect the route.
