Rachael Geddes

Brief experience: Rachael has worked with Kate Humble and Ludo Graham since the early days of Humble by Nature. She manages all aspects of the business, looking after courses, accommodation, events and partnerships. The business has gone from strength to strength, sharing skills and welcoming visitors from across the UK. Featured on Channel 5’s Escape to the Farm with Kate Humble, it showcases local producers and the wider Dean Wye area to a national audience.

Rachael’s background is in retail/ finance, working in a variety of retail design, and then communications and brand strategy roles at Sainsbury’s Bank in London and Edinburgh. She then returned to the area to look after corporate health insurance at SimplyHealth. Rachael’s variety of experience has given her a wealth of practical, strategic and relationship management skills.

Key skills: On and offline marketing, including web development and management, SEO, copy writing, social media, event management, print and production, business development, relationship management, brand strategy and operations.

Reasons for being a member of the board: As a business manager who has benefited from the great work and strategic direction of the board, I’m looking forward to joining the team and helping to develop relationships and networks on the Welsh side of the border.
