Forest of Dean membership
A Forest of Dean membership costs just £42 a year and allows you to park for free at:

All of the money goes into the Forest of Dean, and you’ll also receive a range of other local benefits and discounts, as well as a local e-newsletter.

National membership
New for 2023, Forestry England is for the first time launching a national membership which will cover all 1,500 of the country’s forests. This will give you the opportunity and freedom to visit all our forests across England, without paying car parking charges, all within one membership.
Whilst our local tier membership is perfect for those who love and wish to visit only a specific forest, national tier membership is for people who not only visit their local forest but would like to explore forests further afield in their region and across the country, and are keen to support the nation’s forests as a whole.
National membership will cost £94 for the year and covers membership for your whole household. It is currently due to launch in the Spring of 2023.
