Built on the edge of the site with high level veiws right into the canopy of a 200 year old beech wood, the Zero Zero Treehouse is the Dome Garden’s very own super luxury Treehouse villa with eveything you can imagine for a high level luxury stay in the heart of the forest - eveything from state of the art pizza oven and mesh wifi to a private spa, a steel plunge pool and a hand crafted 300l timber bath.
The building is called ‘Zero Zero’ because of its near zero energy use and is the only passivhaus standard treehouse in the world that you can stay in.
The journey starts on an an exclusive 20ft rope bridge 15ft above an infinity pond which now fills the space of the once famous Superdome – a small echo of the dome that once was!.
Zero Zero was designed as the ultimate romantic getaway for two – but with three secret cabin bunks, there’s also room for the ‘smalls’( or your chums!) if they won’t let you go without them!
From the main bedroom the view is all trees - and the morning sun pierces through them as it rises across a private deck with an outdoor shower.
Elswhere there is a lounge with acess to books and films about The Forest, a fully fitted modern kitchen with decks that face the sun and a second bedroom - big enough for two normal sized people and one under 5ft.
There’s more below decks, down the 39 steps of the block-timber spiral staircase to a watery world of rest and relaxation!
Inside there is a small gym and yoga studio with sauna, steam-room, and a luxurious wooden bath for two in front of a roaring wood burning stove. Step outside and a timber walkway leads you to the centre of the circular infinity pond and the stainless steel plunge pool. Jump straight from the sauna into the freezing water for an invigorating hit or heat it up with the wood burning stove and sit back, wallowing the evening away with birdsong and a bottle of wine.
