About Us
Greenacres is a family run campsite situated just outside Coleford in The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. Famous for its beautiful scenery, the Forest of Dean has many attractions and the site is a short walk from the town of Coleford. If you are looking for a great camping experience in The Forest of Dean, look no further than Greenacres campsite.
Newland is a two minute drive or a short walk along the old Burial Path to find the Ostrich Pub - a quaint old fashioned English Pub.
Symonds Yat Rock with its amazing views and peregrine falcons is only a short drive away and a three mile hike through the woods. The site is well serviced with a Public footpath running along its boundary.
Access from the both the M4 and M5 is straightforward and the site is a short distance from the A40 at Monmouth.
The campsite
Greenacres Campsite is on a small-holding of approx 11 acres, although only about 2 acres is currently used for camping. As a family run campsite, the spirit of the site is one of a relaxed nature - after all, it is your holiday! On arrival, please knock at the bungalow for attention. If nobody is available, please follow the track up behind the bungalow to the camping field, set yourself up and find us later.
The local area is well served with Pubs, Restaurants and Take-Aways, many of which are happy to deliver to you at the campsite.
