In Halloween

Visit a Cadw location this October half term to gain a haunted Halloween experience like no other. Throughout the holidays, Cadw will be hosting a series of spooky and spectacular events perfect for the whole family to enjoy. 

Children go free with adult Cadw members, which includes free entry to these locations and events across Wales all year round, offering a unique way to explore Wales’ rich heritage. 

Here are some of the events:

We’re Going on a Ghost Hunt! at Raglan Castle

  • Saturday 26th October – Thursday 31st, 9.30am-5pm

Mini Pumpkin Decorating at Chepstow Castle. Pick your very own mini pumpkin from the castle prison before decorating with lt pens, stickers and tick-on gemstones. 

  • Saturday 26th October – Sunday 3rd November, 10am-4pm

An Evening of Ghost Stories and Folklore at Raglan Castle. Hear of Welsh legends and local ghost stories recounted by storytellers. 

  • Saturday 26th October, 7-8.30pm (booking required)

Roman Spooktacular Trail at Caerleon Roman Fortress and Baths.

  • Wednesday 30th & Thursday 31st October, 10am-4pm
