Hips Harbourside is a purpose-built Coffee shop situated at the Historic Lydney Docks, perfect for warming you up while walking, a handy pit stop on your morning run or place to sit and enjoy the view.
We serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, cakes, toasties, soup and yogurt. Bringing the ethos of Freshly made and locally sourced food and drinks from Hips Social Café to the banks of the river Severn!
Hips Harbourside is open 9am-3pm seven days a week (with extended hours during the spring, summer and autumn months). During the café’s opening hours, the public toilets and visitor information hub are also open to visitors.
The Harbour itself is currently undergoing a £2.1 million regeneration, funded by the Coastal Community Fund. The main project aims were to create safe, attractive transport routes into Lydney Harbour and develop the area as a recreation and tourism destination, with the addition of the Hips Harbourside facility, two of the historic buildings have been refurbished into a new Visitor Information Hub and toilets.
