About Us
Hips Social is a family run coffee shop and eatery in Lydney. Here you will find carefully sourced coffee crafted by our trained Baristas, a counter full of homemade cakes and doughnuts as well as an all-day menu with food freshly prepared on site, we always endeavour to use local, seasonal, and high-quality produce throughout our menus. During the day we serve a wide range of food. Breakfast Baps, Pancakes, Smashed Avocado, Salads, Burritos, Toasted Sandwiches, and triple cooked Chips.
Opening times:
Monday – Friday: 7:30am-5pm (Kitchen closes at 4)
Saturday: 9am – 5pm (Kitchen closes at 4)
Sunday: 9am – 4pm

As well as our primary venue at Newerne Street Lydney, we are privileged to be a part of the District Council’s ‘Destination Lydney Harbour’ project with our secondary venue ‘Hips Harbourside’ playing a pivotal role to the growth of Lydney Docks and improving the experience of all who visit the historical site. Hips Harbourside is open 7 days a week between 9.00-16.00.
