Come and discover Gloucestershire's premier foodie destination, The Barn at Severn and Wye. The Barn, which opened in October 2017, is a vibrant space that brings together a restaurant, cafe, food hall, fish market, deli, gift shop, and smokery, all under one roof.
Our restaurant and cafe Menus are a celebration of the sea, showcasing dishes made with the freshest seasonal ingredients, including many of our own cured and smoked products. The open-plan design, with a bar and state-of-the-art kitchen, spans the entire first floor, creating an inviting space to dine and unwind. Our kitchen features a Josper grill, perfect for barbecuing whole fish, and a plancha grill that expertly sears and caramelizes fillets, scallops, and crevettes. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and welcoming, with attentive service that ensures a memorable experience.
Downstairs, the food hall is brimming with delicious creations made on site by our team of talented chefs. The options range from smoked salmon and gravadlax, to pates, quiches, salads, fishcakes, and decadent puddings. We proudly support local food artisans alongside carefully selected international suppliers, ensuring every product is of the highest quality.
Our fish market is one of the finest in the country, offering an array of super fresh seafood, primarily sourced from the Shetland Islands and Brixham markets via sustainable day boats.
