A warm welcome awaits you at the Red Hart Inn, a 16th Century pub in the heart of the pretty village of Blaisdon, featuring ever changing, seasonal menus, real ale and all the atmosphere you would expect from a traditional countryside pub.
Full of original features, a log fire, flagstone floors and low beams, the Red Hart Inn provides a warm comfortable place to hide away from the elements in the colder months and the perfect place to stop for refreshments on a sunny day. From the Red Hart Inn, you can easily access the popular walking route around Blaisdon. Featuring a woodland, vineyard and beautiful views, this moderate walk features a step hill, but is a gentle walk that covers mainly open countryside and is perfect for dog walks, family adventures and gentle strolls. Work up an appetite, while exploring a side of Blaisdon you don’t normally see and finish off with a hearty and filling pub lunch with us! Our menus showcase the best in local, seasonal produce and is available to eat in and take away. We regularly change our specials with the seasons, giving you the freshest, tastiest flavours. Our specials board often includes local game dishes and a choice of vegan and gluten free options.
If you explore the local walks with your dog, don’t worry about leaving them behind, the Red Hart Inn is dog friendly and families are welcome. Outside, we have a children’s play area, sheltered patio, beer garden and a heated outdoor dining area, allowing you to fully take advantage of the beautiful surroundings, no matter whatever the weather.
The restaurant is open for lunch Wednesday – Saturday from 12pm – 2.30pm and then for dinner from 5.30pm – 8.30pm. On a Sunday, you can enjoy Sunday Roast and light bites from 12 noon until 3pm. Miss out on a table – don’t worry, we also offer take away!
