Monmouth and District Chamber of Trade and Commerce is committed to representing the interests of businesses in the Monmouth and District area and to support and encourage the future prosperity of those businesses.
We aim to promote and encourage the development of commercial enterprise within Monmouth and its surrounding area; to structure mutual confidence and understanding between enterprises; to develop relations between those enterprises and the public at large, and to present a collective voice to government bodies and agencies.

Media
We’ve updated the ‘Shop Local - Shop Monmouth’ campaign; have forged stronger ties with Monnow Voice and Monmouthshire Beacon; and regularly liaise with Monmouth Town and County Councils. We have also formed an alliance with Chamber Wales.
Lobbying
We have lobbied hard for businesses suffering real hardship during the pandemic.
We have also made Members voices heard over issues that affect our Town.
Information
We have sought out information on grants funding and everything Covid related to help our members. Taking part in regular 'Business resilience meetings' with local government.
Supporting
In this time of financial hardship, we implemented an ‘Honesty’ scheme for the current year, with initial membership available for as little as £30 a year (8p a day/£2.50 a month), and the provision of a payment plan
