About Us
Forest Oak Farm, near Lydney in Gloucestershire, is a small family-run estate specialising in genuinely dog friendly holiday and events hire. Set over twenty acres of fields, lakes and woodland; the Farm is a spacious, welcoming haven for dog friendly holidays and events as well as a home to the Dodson Family and a Dog Training Centre.
As a close-knit, hadrworking family we pride ourselves on having created a very special, welcoming and unique setting that allows us to tailor our services and facilities to fit your individual requirements.
At Forest Oak Farm we understand that your dog is just as important as any other member of your family and that you wouldn't feel right going on holiday without them. We have to fenced areas for the dogs to frollic without fear of squirrel chasing! All of the accommodation we provide allows you relax with your dog by your side (or in the water!).
We have a wheelchair access shower and toilet facility for campers and one wheelchair friendly Cottage (Perry Pears). The cottage offers wide access doors, low light switches, walk in shower and ramp entry to the cottage.
Rosie Lea (Sleeps up to 4)
Perfect for a family holiday in the Forest of Dean this spacious cottage has two bedrooms (a double and a twin) and a large open plan kitchen/living/dining room with Flatscreen TV. Private fenced patio area. Single storey with allocated parking. Bathroom with large shower. Run on Solar energy and serviced by a eco-friendly waste system.
Cherry Blossom (Sleeps up to 4)
A delightful cosy cottage for four people, two bedrooms (a double and a twin) with spacious living/dining area with Flatscreen TV and well equipped modern kitchen. Single storey with allocated parking but sadly no wheelchair access. Also with private, contained patio area looking out over the valley.
Perry Pears (Sleeps up to 4)
Perry Pears is the largest of our cottages, the ideal versatile accommodation for families or couples wanting to get away. Double bed in first bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds. This lovely cottage's spacious kitchen, dining and living area enjoy a garden view. Private parking space and contained patio area for your canine companions. This cottage has full Wheelchair Access and boasts separate shower/wet room.
We also have a campsite and events venue on site.
