Our Forest Retreat Cottages are set in the heart of the Forest of Dean. The perfect location for all countryside enthusiasts.
Barn Owl Cottage is our largest sleeping up to 6 people, making it perfect for a family get away! Wren Cottage sleeps 2 people in our cosy open plan living space. Both cottages are fully furnished, and the kitchens are fully equipped for you to produce all sorts of culinary delights! In both cottages there is an oven with a grill, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with a freezer compartment and an induction hob together with a full complement of utensils. Fresh linen, towels and gowns are also provided for your comfort.
Both Wren Cottage and Barn Owl have lawned areas and outdoor seating to enjoy during the warmer months. Take advantage of the BBQ, sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings. Both gardens are enclosed for your convenience and the security of your fury friends.
You will find wonderful opportunities within the 29,000 acres of the Royal Forest of Dean for walking and cycling. Within easy walking and cycling distance you can also experience the extensive countryside along the River Wye. Popular local activities perfect for whole family include Monmouth Canoe Centre, Beechenhurt, Sculpture Trail, Puzzle Wood, Clearwell Caves & Go Ape. Visit Little Dean Jail or explore the grounds of the famous Tintern Abbey. Your Forest Retreat Holiday offers endless adventures!
For an afternoon amble, Monmouth & Coleford are just a short drive away and offer great opportunities for eating out and exploring.
