A charming cottage located in the village of Clearwell close to good pubs & restaurants. Clearwell Castle, Clearwell Caves, Puzzlewood and Perrygrove Railway are all close by and the property is well suited for walking, cycling and short break holidays. A cosy base for those wanting to explore the wonders of the Forest of Dean with ease.
Foxglove Cottage is a very well equipped spacious cottage originally built circa 1700, restored and extended to provide a high standard of accommodation. It is located on a quiet country lane in a row of four cottages.. The Cottage has three bedrooms, a king, a double & a twin, it comfortably sleeps six (plus an infant and up to two well-behaved dogs).
The Cottage is child friendly with a travel cot, high chair, fire guard and stair gates available.
There is parking to the front and a small pretty courtyard area to the rear of the property with a lockable shed for overnight bike storage.
We welcome you to a haven of tranquillity, a real 'cottage' feel but with a home from home range of amenities and facilities. A paradise for walkers having many varied walks on the doorstep: there are maps and books provided in the cottage, covering leisurely strolls to full day hikes in the Forest, or along the Wye Valley and Offa's Dyke paths.
All in all, Foxglove Cottage is the perfect setting for a leisurely break away from it all, and with central heating and log fire it is cosy at any time of the year
