Idyllic , 2 bed luxurious cottage with wooden flooring, loads of character, wood burner, private parking for 2 cars. Set in the owners beautiful grounds of 7 acres, it is the perfect retreat. We cater for couples, families or small groups. Open all year round. So much to see and do in the Forest of Dean, Cotswolds and surrounding areas.
Mill Cottage dates back to the 17th century, built in 1649. It was a grain storage barn for the Parish Mill which is next door. The Mill was formally one of the most important watermills in Gloucestershire and produced flour until the end of 1946. (Parish Mill still retains its waterwheel)
Parish Mill and the Cottage sit in beautiful grounds of approx. 7 acres with its own access and driveway. A babbling stream meanders through the estate with large willow trees along its bank. Guests will have full use of the gardens.
Parish Mill and the cottage has been our family home since August 2014. It has been furnished throughout to a very high standard and is full of charm and character, ideal for family holidays or a weekend away.

They are designed and selected to enhance the natural landscape and some even use historical materials originally found on the flour mill site including the mill stone and wheel. Staying in such a unique garden amongst the sculptures, makes for an amazingly relaxing break for any art aficionados or even artists themselves.
