About Us
A 17th Century former farmhouse set just 50 yards from the banks of the River Wye, less than a mile from historic Tintern Abbey.
Parva Farmhouse has been a guesthouse for some years with a loyal following. Now with new owners since early 2019, Marta and Roger Brook, it is a proper restaurant as well. Open to non-residents as well as those staying with us.
The Guest Rooms
Our eight en-suite bedrooms are on the first and second floors. Each is individually decorated and furnished to match the character of the farmhouse. We have two twin bed, four double bed and two family rooms, flexible for twin, double or triple use.
Most rooms have superb river or valley views. All have flatscreen TV with Freeview, clock radio, hair-dryer, and tea/coffee making facilities. There are Caroline Henry toiletries and 100% Egyptian cotton bedding, with feather and down duvets.
Our Sitting Room
For relaxation, we offer you comfy leather armchairs and sofas in our snug sitting-room. There’s books and games, and a log burning fire in the winter.
The Honesty Bar
Essentially there is a choice of red and white wines, and sparkling (by the bottle). Plus brandy, gin, vodka, rum, whisky, port, beer, and soft drinks. With an ice bucket stocked with plenty of ice.
Our Restaurant
With a background in high end restaurants, dinner is offered Monday to Sunday, top quality produce cooked and served with skill. We source decent ingredients and then we cook them with respect. Our aim is to offer you simply good food and wines, with no compromises.
The up to date menu is available on our website.
