About Us
The Saracens Head Inn occupies a unique position on the east bank of the River Wye where it flows into a steep gorge on the edge of the Forest of Dean. The inn has a reputation for high quality food, using fresh local ingredients where possible, with a regularly changing menu and daily specials.
Included in price of rooms is a delightful English breakfast, free off-road parking and all taxes.
There is also a small lounge with a TV and games for the use of residents only.
Symonds Yat East is in the Wye Valley AONB and nestles below Symonds Yat Rock with many scenic walks to be enjoyed. The inn has an ancient hand ferry and 10 rooms, most overlooking the river, making it an ideal base to explore this beautiful area.
We are within seven miles of the small market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth. Abergavenny and the cathedral cities of Hereford and Gloucester are also a 30 minute drive away, with Cardiff and Bristol both being accessible within an hour.
Sorry, we cannot accommodate children under 14 years or pets.
