About Us

Canoe Hire in the Wye Valley based at Symonds Yat.

We cater for family days out, couples looking for an adventure, groups of friends having fun, corporate team building and even 2 day expedition holidays.

We transport you from our canoe hire centre in Symonds Yat West, up river for the start of your canoe trip and you paddle (downstream) back to us.

Depending on how long you want to hire a canoe for will depend on how far upstream from Symonds Yat we will take you.

* The canoeing season runs from April through to October. During this period we are open 7 days a week 9am - 5pm.
Please book in advance to avoid disappointment, as weekends and peak season tends to be busy. 
Bookings can be made online anytime, right up to midnight for the following day.

If you are using a SATNAV to find us please use either the Paddocks Hotel or Canoe the Wye as your destination as the postcode will take you to either the East side of the river or past us down to Ye Old Ferrie Inn.

 

Look out for the entrance to the Paddocks Hotel on the left as you pass through the village.  So shortly after you pass the Wye Knot Inn you will see the Paddocks Hotel entrance on your left.  Pass under the Green Paddocks Hotel sign and down the hill. We are at the rear of the hotel, through a gateway.
