About Us
Hartpury University and Hartpury College are among the UK’s leading specialist education providers in animal, agriculture, equine, sport and veterinary nursing.
Located in Gloucestershire, our 360-hectare campus is home to over 4,600 college-level, undergraduate and postgraduate university students, studying A-levels, diplomas and degrees, as well as undertaking cutting-edge industry research. We are primarily a well-respected educational provider but we also run many public-facing events throughout the year.
Hartpury University RFC is currently one of the top 24 clubs in England and has been instrumental in furthering the development of talented rugby players studying at Hartpury. Giving Hartpury recruits the perfect opportunity to experience National League rugby as part of their development, Hartpury University RFC has experienced a swift rise through the league system since their formation back in 2004.
Gloucester-Hartpury Women RFC is a highly successful partnership between Gloucester Rugby Club and Hartpury. Founded in 2014, it provides students and graduates with an opportunity to play at the very highest level in the women’s domestic game, the Tyrrells Premier 15s. In 2023, Gloucester-Hartpury became the first non-London club to win the Allianz Premier 15s final with a 34-19 victory over Exeter in front of a record crowd with a squad featuring 13 Hartpury students, staff and alumni showcasing the institution’s well-established and world-renowned rugby pathway.
We host a series of events throughout the year, details of which are below.
