At Rachel Shilston - Inspiring Creativity, we know it's important to press pause and take time out, so our hands-on mosaic workshops and fun mosaic kits are perfect activities to ensure you can engage in some vital creative downtime.
If you are looking for an alternative activity to do whilst on holiday in the beautiful Forest of Dean, then perhaps consider a creative mosaic workshop in Rachel's spacious and well-equipped studio, because we really do believe that mosaic has magical powers. Once you've tried it, we just know you'll be hooked on its therapeutic and absorbing qualities.
Rachel is based on Lydney Park Estate, adjacent to Taurus Crafts on the edge of Lydney. She can cater for small, family groups to large parties. Whether a group of children, adults, friends or family, a creative mosaic workshop can provide some relaxing down time, between the all-important sightseeing. Mosaic is the perfect medium to allow people to come together to make something special, either individually or collaboratively, as a lasting memory of their stay in the Forest of Dean. Rachel can tailor-make sessions to suit most ages and abilities - just get in touch to discuss your requirements. Her large studio has ample parking, Rachel runs regular workshops to suit most budgets but you can also book a private session at a time to suit you (minimum of 2 people). All materials and tuition supplied, but pre-booking is essential. The studio is fully licenced, so you can enjoy a glass of fizz whilst crafting and options for afternoon tea are available too, helping to make your experience really memorable.
There are lots of public workshops available but if you can’t make them, why not book a private session with Rachel in her studio on a day and time to suit you? A minimum of 4 people are required for this service, just email info@rachelshilston.co.uk to check availability.
Or, if you can't make it to one of Rachel's workshops, pick up one of her unique mosaic kits from her shop and make it in the comfort of your holiday accommodation or take it home to complete.
