If this is your first climb and have no idea whether you have a head for heights, we'll give you the confidence to have a go at this exhilarating sport. And for more experienced climbers, there is plenty of opportunity to challenge yourself and develop your climbing skills.
Symonds Yat in the Wye Valley is the perfect spot for climbing. The limestone cliffs offer a variety of venues for rock climbing, with a good mix of grades. Once you've made it to the top, the next challenge is to come back down - cue abseiling! We'll teach you how to descend a cliff using ropes, safely and in a controlled way.

- Free Parking - No parking charges at the Stand-up paddle boarding and the Gorge Scrambling activity venue meet points.
- Parking with charge - Meet point at Symonds Yat Rock Car Park for the Rock Climbing activity is a Forestry England car park where pay and display charges apply. Mobile phone signal is weak here so please bring change for payment if you are unable to get a connection for payment via phone.
