Whether on the edge of a wood or at the end of a private lane, our beautiful large holiday cottages nestle in the heart of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. With stunning views over the wonderful River Wye, up to famous Yat Rock, looking over Raglan Castle or across the Llangovan Valley our self-catering, large holiday homes easily accommodate groups of up to 26 people.
Whilst our houses are self-catered with every facility you'll need for easy group entertaining , we can put you in touch with local catering companies if you that's an option you prefer. What is unique about our large holiday homes?
Our large holiday homes combine genuine peace and quiet (apart from the sounds of the river and birdsong) with very little passing traffic. There are many nice places to eat and drink nearby with excellent pubs and restaurants within walking distance (plus, in one house, one that's accessed by river ferry).
If you're planning a staycation or you're visiting the UK from abroad, our big cottages are perfect for large family breaks, special occasions, celebrations, reunions and fun, activity-based weekends away. Each of our large holiday cottages has a unique character or history, with some dating back to the 15th century that lends a special atmosphere to staying in them. With the houses having been updated to include many essentials for a comfortable holiday for large groups, including hot tubs, games rooms, plenty of bathrooms and the occasional swimming pool or in-house gym!
